We did Halloween. The kids were all SO excited about their costumes. Grim reaper, Batman, Harry, and Hermione. Kids make holidays even more fun than they already are. Our next-door neighbor taught Kai to say, "Trick or treat" and "thank you" in a raspy, deep Batman voice. He stayed in character all night long. Dane used his want to cast spells on me about every 5 minutes. Haven used her want to cast spells on Dane, and Elijah was just all about the candy. Oh, they make me laugh!
David had to fly to NJ for a family funeral at the last minute, so the kids and I did Halloween alone. Turns out it's hard to keep track of four sugar-high children and an excitable dog, in the dark and crowded sidewalk. Thank heavens for the trick-or-treating help of Rob and Becky!
All in all, it was a super fun night.
