Christmas

Here's some of my favorite pictures from Christmas. We spent most of the break in Oregon. We breathed all of it in...the rain, the ocean, the river, the bay, the green, the trees, the abundance of living things, and the deliciously drinkable tap water. Oh, Texas. You don't even know the meaning of green. Although you do make up for much of it with your indescribable steaks and your virtually year-round sun (translation: kids can play outside all the time).

My parents and sister. Gosh I love these people.

Haven got eyeshadow for Christmas, which she passionately and excessively applied on anyone she could get her hands on. Dave was very patient. And very beautiful.

Christmas morning. Eli's barely strong enough to handle Dane's fatness. Love it.

Yes, he really is the drooliest kid on the planet. And also the most content.

Oh, Ocean, how I love you. This is my sister and Haven.

My sister and me. About 20 minutes after this picture was taken she creamed me in a foot-race. I was stunned for the next 4 hours. When did get older and past my prime?? Somehow part of my brain perpetually feels 18 years old. Could turn out to be a problem.
