Merry Christmas!! Last year in the midst of having recently had a baby, acquired a puppy, and moved across the country, we chose to do our Christmas "card" on this blog instead of the traditional in-the-mail kind. It felt a little lame, but spared so much stress and was so budget-friendly that the happiness of it outweighed the lameness of it. And to my surprise, we got an overwhelmingly positive response to our new method! So...here we are again.
We love and are grateful for each of you. Truly. We have been blessed with family and friends so wonderful and numerous that it takes our breath away. For the first time in a long time, our life has felt sweetly stable and consistent this past year. We know it won't last forever, but have been greatly enjoying it while it does. Thank you all for your wonderful-ness, love, and support of our family! At this time of year, we are especially mindful of and grateful for the Son of God, born as a poor baby boy to loving parents so many years ago. Every good thing in our lives is a result of Him, His atonement, and the truths taught in his gospel. We are are so blessed.
Merry Christmas!
Love,
The Servino Family

I love your blog!!!!!! Dianne does our family blog, but it comes out after Christmas: (1) she is less stressed, (2) people will take time to read it, and (2) people will take time to read it.
This is great! Your family is so cute and fun, I am so glad we got to know you. Thanks for thinking of us. Merry christmas!
Oh Lindsey! Love it! Love the pics. Love the descriptions! Love you guys!
I am compelled to say how hilarious Dane's face is in the pic of all the kids together. And I love that he wants to be a monster when he grows up. That kid is awesome.
Also, the "mmm...yezzz..." expression on Eli's face while reading "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" makes me laugh! He's reading with the earnestness and focus of a Truth-seeker. And if hilarious=truth, that book is the gospel! :)
And lastly, we miss you guys. Whitney and Stu still talk about when we're going to visit Haven and Eli. Whit studied these pictures of your kids with intensity. :) Merry Christmas Servinos!
OK one more comment. I went back to laugh at Dane's face again and realized that his stand-out performance is such that I almost didn't notice Haven's hilarious expression too.
Incidentally, I hope we're laughing together on this. Not just me, right? Friend?
Thanks for this very fun report on your family! It's great to see and hear about each one of you. We miss you!! Best wishes for a great 2013!
